MA Program in Semiotics

MA program in Semiotics offers more than 40 cources and students may choose their educational plan.

PhD PROGRAM SEMIOTICS

The applicants must have a Master’s degree.

REQUIREMENTS:               

Total credits: 180

Courses: 10 credits

-courses  – 6 credits

-Early Fall School of Semiotics – 4 credits

Teaching: 20 credits

-lectures – 10 credits

-– 2 credits

-preparation of new courses – 4 credits

-tutorials – 2 credits

-seminars – 2 credits

-thesis supervision of MA students of Semiotics – 2 credits

Research work: - 75 credits

- publication of scholarly paper     

in international edition – 20 credits

in Bulgarian edition – 10 credits

- publication of research paper:    

in international edition – 20 credits

in Bulgarian edition – 10 credits

- report at a conference – 5 credits

- scientific paper at a conference – 5 credits

- internship – 10 credits

- practice at a scientific institution – 15 credits

Doctoral qualifying examination – 30 credits

Doctoral dissertation - 45 credits
